 Today in class we played kahoot with our vocabulary words from the beginning of the week. The vocabulary words can expand my vocabulary. And later in the class period we did an assignment using different vocabulary words. There was exercises that can help me use these words in sentences in my everyday life. 

 today in class we learned the following process of writing. There are 5 steps to the writing process which are, pre writing, drafting, revising, editing, and presenting. we also learn an how brainstorming and clustering help in the writing process. Our teacher used an example to help us understand. tomorrow we will review again and begin on a writing assignment 

 Today in class we learned the most helpful strategy to answering multiple choice questions. We also took a post test on all the poems we read so far this semester 

 Zyanna Perdue Mr Rease  American literature  12 January 2023                             Bell Ringer  The main purpose in life is to live with happiness. Life is too short to live in worry or sadness. It’s important to live your life to the fullest because you never know what can happen, you can loose your life at any time, so why waste it worrying. 

 The best advice my mother gave me was that, pain is temporary and that it will always end. At the time I was going through a lot mentally and I was overwhelmed, she also told me to look forward to my future and not to dwell on the past and present. Im reminded of these wise words whenever I’m overwhelmed or stressed out. I follow and live by these words very often and I am glad to have a mother like her.

Today in class we watched a video and took a pre test 

 Zyanna Perdue Mr Rease  American literature  9 January 2023  There was a hand full of people in an elevator. One of the people passed gas and everyone was trapped in the elevator with the smell.
